What Can I Expect?

Safe and Effective Exercises:

Tailored to accommodate your changing body, our classes focus on improving core strength, flexibility, and posture while minimising discomfort and strain.

Breath Awareness and Relaxation Techniques:

Learn breathing exercises that promote relaxation and help manage stress, contributing to a more comfortable pregnancy and smoother labor experience.

Personalised Attention:

Our certified instructor is qualified and experienced in antenatal Pilates and will provide modifications and adjustments to suit your unique needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Strength and Stability:

Focus on strengthening the muscles that support your growing belly and prepare your body for childbirth. Our program helps to minimise common pregnancy discomforts, such as back pain and pelvic pressure.

FAQs

  • It is a six week program involving three Pilates classes and one educational video each week.

    The Pilates classes are taught by our antenatal trained Physiotherapist/Pilates instructor and are pregnancy safe.

    The educational videos include topics such as body changes during pregnancy, stretches for common pregnancy-related aches and pains, and returning to exercise postpartum.

  • Our program can be completed at any point during your pregnancy, provided you have medical clearance from your care provider.

  • The classes use a pair of dumbbells (you can use water bottles or tinned goods), a theraband, chair (or couch) and a chi ball (can be purchased from our TPS store).

  • Access to the Bump to Baby program is included in our TPS memberships, which can be purchased here.
